live edge table

Years ago I had to remove a cherry tree which grew where my workshop was going to be built. I had the log sawn into boards and let air dry in my shop and for years pondered about I would make with them. The log had a slight curve which translated to the boards, so I decided to make a dining table and keep the natural curve in the design. The minimalist steel base keep the open space between the boards.

Top is 2 boards joined to make each side.

Length: 120″
Width: 40.5″ at ends; 34.75″ at middle; 1″ wood top thickness
